Twelve years ago in 8th shrawan 2066 ( 23rd july 2009), Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha ltd was borne to serve the low -income women through self employment generation activities, with Grameen Bank Model .

The organization has been serving through various types of credit with credit plus activities like Deposit Mobilization, Insurance Product Offering, Remittance service Offering, Skill Development Trainings, Business Knowledge Development Trainings and Business Counseling.

From a small beginning eleven years ago, our organization has seen significant growth and marked improvement in all indicators. It was established with only Nrs. 15.7 million capital that has now increased to Nrs. 411.2 million. More importantly, the organization has planned to reach up to Nrs. 500 million capital in the near future. Similarly, our organization that had only 3 working districts in its inception now has increased to national level and is serving 112000 + clients as of 31th Chaitra 2077 B.S. (13th Apr 2021 AD.)

Personally and on behalf of the organization, I thank all the regulators including Nepal Rastra Bank ( Central Bank Of Nepal), Office of the Company Registrar, Securities Board of Nepal, Nepal Stock Exchange etc. I would also like to extend my thanks to Microfinance Networks including Nepal Microfinance Banker’s Association, Center for Microfinance – Nepal, and Center for Self-Help Development.
